Spirit serves girls from about age eight through high school. Exact team counts change with who walks into tryouts.

Levels

Developmental, regional, and national

Not every athlete needs the same tournament load. Spirit offers developmental, regional, and national level teams so families can match travel, cost, and availability.

What a given age group offers in a given year depends on the gym that night — numbers, experience, and who can commit to the season. We will not invent a ladder that is not in front of us.

How teams are made

Tryouts, then a roster

  • Athletes register for the published tryout date — typically October, with summer look-ins when we host them.
  • Coaches evaluate serve, pass, set, attack, defense, and how a player competes in a drill.
  • Most teams take about 8–10 players.
  • Offers go out after tryouts.

2026–27 season

Team & club fees

Fees cover the season package for that team level. Exact tournament schedules are set after tryouts. Coaches may add tournaments (there may be an additional fee). Season tournaments run roughly January through early April.

13U–18U

Teal — $800

2 jerseys

  • 1–2 two-day tournaments
  • 3–4 one-day tournaments

Youth 10U–12U

Youth tryouts are in the fall only. Tournaments and player fees vary by team.

11U / 12U Elite — $900

2 jerseys · ASICS National or USAV qualifier only if applicable
