Youth, middle school, and high school tryouts are posted for Fun City Courts. Register online, then show up ready to play.

The short version

What to expect

  • Arrive ready to move: court shoes, kneepads, water, hair up.
  • Stations cover serve, pass, set, attack, and defense. Coaches also watch how you compete when a drill gets messy.
  • Most teams carry 8–10 athletes. That is a small gym on purpose.
  • Placement is by the tryout in front of us, not by a school name or a previous season.

Youth tryouts

October 20 and 23 · 2nd–6th grade (10U–12U)

  • 2nd–4th grade   5:00–6:00 PM
  • 5th grade   6:30–7:30 PM
  • 6th grade   8:00–9:00 PM

Bring court shoes, kneepads, and water. If you cannot make the first night, the second date is the makeup.

Middle school tryouts

Sunday, October 18 at Fun City Courts. One date — final MS tryout.

  • 7th grade   1:00–2:30 PM
  • 8th grade   2:30–4:00 PM

$40 tryout fee.

Thursday, October 29 at Fun City Courts. 9th–12th grade.

  • 15U   5:00–6:30 PM
  • 16U   6:30–8:00 PM
  • 17U / 18U   8:00–9:30 PM

Prep

Pre-tryout youth clinic

October 11, 12, and 14. A good way to get touches in before the official youth tryout nights.

  • Oct 11   10U 5:00–6:00 PM · 11U 6:15–7:15 PM
  • Oct 12 & 14   10U/11U 6:45–7:45 PM · 12U 8:00–9:00 PM

$60 for all three nights, or $25 for a single night.

Offers, then the season

1. Tryout

Be in the gym on the published night. If you cannot make the first date, ask about a makeup before you assume you are out.

2. Placement

Coaches build teams by age group and level. You will hear from the club after evaluations — not during the last drill.

3. Season

Accepted families get the practice rhythm, tournament plan, and paperwork. USA Volleyball membership and SafeSport rules apply to the adults in the program.
